# About Cloudy Handshake

Small tools for the friendly, slightly awkward business of meeting people.

## What it is

Cloudy Handshake has five free tools: an [email introduction writer](https://cloudyhandshake.cyou/) that follows the double opt-in habit, [networking follow-up templates](https://cloudyhandshake.cyou/networking-follow-up-templates/), an [icebreaker question generator](https://cloudyhandshake.cyou/icebreaker-questions/), a [name badge printer](https://cloudyhandshake.cyou/name-badge-printer/) and a [meeting agenda builder](https://cloudyhandshake.cyou/meeting-agenda-builder/). They are for anyone who connects people: community organisers, teachers, team leads, recruiters and friends who know everybody.

## How it works

Everything runs in your browser. The emails and templates are written from your answers on your own device, the badges are drawn on your device and sent straight to your printer, and nothing you type is uploaded. Your drafts are kept in your browser's local storage so they are there next time.

## The words

All the templates, example emails and the 250 or so icebreaker questions were written for this site. You are welcome to use and change them in your own messages and meetings.

## Who makes it

Cloudy Handshake is an independent site with no ads and no accounts.
