# Name badge printer

Paste your guest list, choose a design and size, and print sheets of badges ready to cut and slip into holders, or to stick on with tape. Names are fitted to the badge automatically.

## Making the badges

1. Paste or type your list, one person per line. A role, company or pronouns can follow a comma.
2. Choose a design and colour. **First name large** puts the name people actually say in big letters, with the full name smaller underneath.
3. Pick the badge size to match your holders or card stock, and your paper. The page turns sideways by itself when that fits more badges.
4. Press **Print badges**. Each sheet is drawn at real size; check the first page before printing the rest.

## Cutting them out

With **Touching** spacing, neighbouring badges share an edge, so one straight cut separates them; line a ruler up with the cut marks in the margin. Choose **4 mm apart** if you are cutting with scissors, as the small gap hides a wobbly line. Long names shrink to fit, so very long names are worth a glance in the preview. Black and white suits low-ink printing.

## Questions

**Which size should I choose?**

Match your badge holders or card stock: measure the paper insert, not the plastic sleeve. If you have no holders, the bank-card size works with clips and lanyards, and A6 or 4 × 3 in are easy to read across a room.

**Why are my badges a little too small or large?**

The print dialog is probably scaling the page. Set scale to 100% or Actual size, and margins to None or Default; Fit to page shrinks everything.

**Is the guest list saved?**

Only in your browser's local storage, so it is there when you come back to print more. It is never uploaded. Clear the box to remove it.
