# Privacy

The short version: what you type stays on your device.

## Your tools stay in your browser

The introduction writer, follow-up templates, icebreakers, badge printer and agenda builder all run in your browser. Names, email addresses, roles and notes you type are not sent to us or to anyone else.

## What is stored on your device

So your work is there next time, the site keeps it in your browser's local storage: the people, emails and wording in the introduction writer, the fields in the follow-up templates, which icebreakers you have already seen, your badge list and settings, your agenda, and your colour theme. Nothing in local storage leaves your device. Use the clear buttons in each tool, or clear this site's data in your browser, to remove it.

## Email links

The "Open in email app" buttons are ordinary `mailto:` links. They hand the draft to the email program on your device; the site never sends email itself.

## Page view counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and never receives what you type into the tools.

## Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse; see [Cloudflare's privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).

Links to other websites, including the tools we recommend, are ordinary links. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
